Bread
Why don't they make bread that will fit in the toaster?
This mornings toast had to go in twice and get turned over half way through manufacture.

You need to buy your toaster to fit your bread.

Re: Bread
I find it doesn't matter what size the bread is, the beans still slide off and make a gooey mess in the bottom.

You could try gluing the beans to the bread with some melted cheese first.

Re: Bread
I find if you lie the toaster on it's side and jam open the side clamps with a piece of wood (don't use anything metal!), cheese on toast can be made with no problem. I've done this quite often..

I love the ingenious way that the smoke alarm goes off to let you know when the toast is ready

You can get toast bags that apparently allow you to make toasted sandwiches in a toaster, I know because we’ve got some. One day we may even try them out

They're OK Tony, but we found them rather tough - and they taste a bit plasticky!Askit wrote:You can get toast bags that apparently allow you to make toasted sandwiches in a toaster, I know because we’ve got some. One day we may even try them out

Re: Bread
When I was an apprentice, we had a colleague who was notorious for “misappropriating” food. One day a couple of my fellow workmates put a joke rubber fried egg into a bread roll and left it in a prominent place. The guy fell for it but had eaten almost half the “egg” roll before he realised
