Hi all,
Just a quick intro. as I have just joined this forum. My current MH is an AS Gatcombe of 2001 vintage. I am the second owner having purchased it from a dealer in 2007. Being a Gatcombe it has the excellent 5 cylinder 2.5-litre turbo engine, which, although bulletproof in itself the bits that are stuck on it aren't. The engine is just run in at 46,000 miles. The Gatcombe is the latest in a line of four, and is, by far, the best of the lot. In chronological order, my previous vans were (a) 1965 Bedford CA Dormobile, (b) 1971 Commer and (c) 1981 T3 VW. So you see I have had a few years under my belt as a motorised camper. I'm 72 years young and off to the Lake District in August.
