Off to France in a weeks time going Dover Calais -is it possible to keep the fridge switched on during the ferry crossing or do I make for the nearest supermarket to stock up?

Your gas supply must be turned off at the container, so fridge won't work. provided fridge is down to temperature, should be ok for Dover Calais crossing.
