Excessive roll on left hand corners Empty Excessive roll on left hand corners

Post by esemar Wed Apr 18, 2018 6:39 am

My 2007 Inca is rolling quite a lot on left hand corners. Driving home yesterday I thought at one point I was going to lose control. On right hand corners it is fine. I am not driving too fast, in fact I probably drive slower than average. The MOT is booked for next month but I just wondered if anybody else has had this happenotice.

Have you had a look at the springs and shock absorbers ?

Sounds pretty hairy to me, I wouldn't wait for the MOT to get it looked at.

Check your tyre pressures first as Roger have indicated

And I agree with Peter get it checked out as a matter of urgency, don’t wait for MOT for a fail

Thanks for the replies. The tyre pressures were way too low and once they were up to what they should be the van drove fine. I am about to order a compressor and keep a better eye on theml

Beware of using the cigarette lighter socket on the dash.

Some compressors will pop the fuse in an instant. Much better to lengthen the electric cable with fairly heavy wire, and use the jump starting terminals under the bonnet.
