pub stop over

HI. Just spent a few nights at the Ship Inn, Higher Hesleden north of Hartlepool. All the meals I had where excellent and at a very reasonable price. There is also a selection of very well kept beer. Owners of the pub are also very friendly, He serves the beer and his wife cooks the excellent food.
Well worth a visit. Ideal if you are going to watch football in the north east.

There seems to a bit of a dearth of stops in that area.
