Marketing nonsense talk...

Just watched an advert for a hard floor cleaner which costs around £200, the great thing is it features "Smart roller technology". Basically it is two paint rollers with a vacuum over the top that takes the moisture away.... what is wrong with a mop and bucket!

I bet it has a self moulding easy grip ergonomic safety handle with custom barrier coating as well (ie plastic!)
You just have to love marketing speak

The hand cleaner container with the motion sensor, so you didn't have to touch the plunger which was likely to be contaminated from previous germ laden hands.

The contents were claimed to kill 99% of all known germs, and after pushing the plunger (on a normal container) what was your very next action going to be!!!

Never heard of them a couple of years ago, now they seem to sell anything with a battery in it!?

Expensive Plastic box with a few leds flashing  on show that you talk to like an electronic microprocessor controlled '  Billy no mates'  and it will do anything from switch on lights to ordering sugar and potatoes from your favourite supermarket. What are they all about ? The foot spa / burger press or beaded car seat cover of 2018? 
   Also the obvious at the  top of the page- motorhomes of excellence! Aye right , tell that to many on here ! 

Not quite arketing nonsense but I get annoyed by the social media cries of "get involved" followed by "who will win today, Melchester Rovers or St Trinians?"

Several years ago I read an advert describing the product as a water management system.
It was actually a kettle!, ok so you could adjust the temperature, big deal.

My car has an "ergonomically designed " dashboard to "to put all controls in easy reach of the driver".

Then they put in voice control?

As it is the furthest away I told it to turn on the radio, 4 times without success so just pressed the button. Probably less distracting than using voice.
