just joined and seeking some advice
Good afternoon we are in the process of selling our VW T25 as we need more space for an extended trip around UK this year, so having looked around our current budget indicates we can afford something from around 1994 to 1998 and as we live in the London are this means a petrol camper, so mostly they seem to be 2 litre, can we get words of advice on how they are on hills and economy and also there appear to be more Peugeots around are spares readily available for these models, any advice at all very much appreciated

Re: just joined and seeking some advice
Welcome from N.E Wales.
I had a 97 petrol Symphony. Had it 5 years, never actually had anything go wrong so never needed spares other than service items. I know gearbox spares are getting hard to find so make sure the gear change is smooth and get the oil changed as they suffered from water ingress from the windscreen scuttle draining onto the gearbox. You won't win any races with 2 litre petrol but it will plod along happily all day. I'm sure others will be along soon to give their experiences.

Will you have any issues with LEZ for a 1999 vehicle mate?

That's why the lady is looking for a petrol engined vehicle, to which LEZ doesn't apply.
Presumably, Lesley, you're not in the central london proposed ULEZ area which will apply to petrol?
It's currently set to be only within the Congestion Charge zone but they are proposing to extend it in future.
Welcome to the forum.
cheers
Roger
