Vango Awning Query
Hi
I'm looking to purchase a Vango Awning for our motorhome (old SV100 on VW T4 chassis) and before purchasing i'm slightly concerned about pitch sizes in general.
If I purchase the awning I fancy it will take my van and awning width to just under 6m. Van length is 5.2 m.
Can anyone advise if this is a common size and if I should expect to encounter any issues with booking pitches?
Thanks in advance for info!

Re: Vango Awning Query
I sometimes have an issue with our Vango Kela III on CAMC sites, where they insist you line up to a marker peg, leaving a space for your non-existant car.
Not really an issue on grass pitches, but on some of the sites with slightly limited space (Chatsworth comes to mind) you run the risk of the awning edge being outside the boundary of the marked hard-standing.

It was the Kela III i was looking at funnily enough. So on the C&CC site has it been common or the odd exception?
This is our first motorhome so completly new to everything!

Re: Vango Awning Query
When we had the caravan, the exterior width was 7` 6"` and the Kampa awning was 8`making 15` 6" then there were the guy lines, and no where did we invade the next pitch, surely your van will be no wider.
Plus at the other side we had 2 Aqua rolls and a waste master, well within our pitch, which I take it you will not have, car parked in front on some pitches, others parked at the side.

Re: Vango Awning Query
Thanks everyone! Definitely put my mind at ease now. I suppose I may encounter the odd occasion which is fine. Either don't use the site or the awning will suffice in such a scenario.
