I guess I've been a member for months and, whether from laziness or the feeling that I have no expertise to offer, have delayed introducing myself. I believe that makes me something called a "lurker"! Reading on this site "Will new members pleae introduce themselves as a matter of courtesy" has twinged my conscience -apologies for the delay and no discourtesy intended.
My wife and I are both retired schoolteachers with a long history of tenting, trailer tenting and caravanning and - starting 2017 - a little bit of motorhoming. We have toured France and Spain, but to my wife's long-suffering puzzlement, I have a fascination with Scotland.
I have already picked up a few useful tips from this site and the latest - removing 12kg of unnecessary steadies - I intend to implement today. If it stops raining! So, thank you already, and "Hello!".
