Having owned many types of Motorhome in the past, my wife and I have decided
that we now need something small (2 berth), reliable and suited to our limited
budget. We like the look of secondhand Executive or Clubman GL with single
beds (we are both in our mid 70's!) and hope to gain some useful tips by using
the forum.

hi-2010 Billcyn,

Welcome to the forum and good luck with your search.

Plenty of helpful advice on here up!

We also downsized to a '97 Clubman GL .... (spot on allthumbz ) to tour where our previous 'Yanks' could not get !!

Whitby - one of my favourite spots in the UK.

Both vans would be a good choice. If you are happy about the space in the Clubman, then IMO a Clubman or Gatcome/Clubman Anniversay (2.5td engine option) would be the better buy from performance and economy point of view. Being around 1ft shorter than the Executive parking is easier (not that the Exec id difficult)
Where you are Cleveland Motorhomes at Teesside Airport is your nearest A-S dealer

hello and welcome to the forum, we bought a symbol a few months back and we absolutely love it, ideal for two people, really looking forward to the new season, will give it a drive to pershore this week, wifey saw a knitting pattern there that she liked, it could work out quite expensive says i, anyway it will give the batteries a good charging up, so happy hunting for your new van and give us a wave, johnandeva. lets_dance
