2017 Santon toilet
Hello
Can someone advise me of the model of toilet used on a 2017 Stanton?
I took pictures of the labels inside the cassette locker on the AS stand at the NEC last week and went along to the Thetford stand. The cassette on the 2018 is different to the one fitted on my Swift and I like to carry a spare cassette. I want to order a spare before I take delivery of my new 2017 Stanton next month. The boys and girls on the Thetford stand said that the toilet I was showing them pictures of was a brand new model and that spare cassettes would not be made available for sale until at least the end of next year!!!
So, If the 2018 model has a new toilet, what was used on the 2017 model year? anyone know the Thetford model No?
Many thanks
Dennis

At risk of suggesting the blindingly obvious, why not give A/S a quick call. They will have all the details you could possibly need.

I strongly advise you to wait until you have the vehicle but if you must, the van should be well on the way to being built so ask your dealer to get the exact make and model of toilet from the factory.

Re: 2017 Santon toilet
Thanks for suggestions. I called AS and the person who knows is not in until Monday.
The Motorhome is in stock at the dealer so I emailed and asked them. I was trying to avoid doing this as they are all busy after last week's show.
Anyway, to answer my own question, It is a C200CWE. Not the same as my C250, so I need a new spare cassette.
Thanks again

It is usually better to buy the Fresh up kit than just the cassette, you get a new seat and some cleaner as well. It can have wheels as well if you prefer.

I believe all new ones come with wheels.

What a strange comment. Motorhomes wouldn't go without them.KMRTOPAZ wrote:The wheels are useless!!!!

Re: 2017 Santon toilet
I had a look at the new toilet in a 2018 van...looks very neat and has the blade handle at the front instead of at the side... Being curious (!) I tried the handle, opened the blade and discovered that, when open, it doesn't open completely but only halfway! Maybe there is a further action required to open it fully but I immediately thought of the problems this might cause me (if I had a new one) being someone who always opens the blade when 'going'!
