No dealings but I understand JMT get part-exs from Cotswold Motorhomes , I know my Symphony went there a few years ago.

Re: nsv ltd, somerset trade campers, jmt leisure
Both STC and JMT are close to where I live
JMT started off as quite a small concern in Cleeve and built up the business slowly doubled there forecourt after a period of time and after a few years they moved to their new site on the A370 it being purpose built for them having previously been a scrap yard. I have not bought anything from them but have never heard any bad news about them don't know where they get their vans from but they are well presented and seem to give a friendly welcome when we once visited for a look round and no pressure.
STC are just about a mile down the road and seem to have older less costly vans and whilst I cannot confirm it I was told that some of their vans come from JMT taken as trade-ins that are below their price range. This was a car sales site before and petrol sales and been selling MHs for 2 or 3 years I would guess
Don't know anything about NSV apart from there has been a small MH sales on the site for many years

Colin Hi
I suppose no news is good news that is there has been no local press about the company and I have heard nothing elsewhere.
Fair treck for you to come up for you though hope it is worth it should you decide to make the trip.
All the best of luck
David

It’s not that far, Heanorboy - Cornwall to Somerset.
Unless I’m mistaken, Colin, this is one of the sites that a bigger company used to operate from before they went scat some years ago. I forget their name. I knew somebody was trading there again but I’ve heard nothing about them either good or bad.
Have you checked out Eden at Scorrier as they often have several AS models on sale? The business is now run by an ex-Marquis manager.

We bought from JMT a few years ago, without any problems. They have a good range of vans, they told us they specialise in the under 20k range.
STC are just down the road from JMT. Their vans are cheaper and tattier, they seem to take the vans JMT don't want.

Re: nsv ltd, somerset trade campers, jmt leisure
I bought my van from JMT Leisure. All seemed good at first but after sales service very lacking......
We discovered quite a few minor issues after we bought it. After many chasing emails & calls (which were never returned because they were "very busy") I eventually took it back to get things supposedly repaired (broken exhaust, leisure battery connection, fresh water tank, speedometer issue, leaking bathroom window, loose engine battery amongst other things).
They then forgot to do some of the repairs which meant several more trips back after more ignored emails and calls.
In the end they had a few attempts at "bodging a repair" to the bathroom window (words of the professional repair company that eventually did the repair properly) and only took things seriously when I threatened to go down the route of a full refund. I had the repairs done professionally elsewhere after my 'legal email' to them and they refunded the cost of the window repair and a few others I had had done. Oh, I also had to pay to get the freshwater tank repaired a year later after their bodge on that too!
Overall pleased with the van now but partly only due to my pushing to get things done properly. Certainly wouldn't consider buying from JMT again.

Re: nsv ltd, somerset trade campers, jmt leisure
When looking for our executive I visited both - We found Somerset Trade Campers were mainly older scruffy vans, looked lovely on website but different story when we visited! JMT had some nice stock but we found them quite overpriced.
We ended up sourcing ours from motorhome depot - they have franchises throughout UK, our van had been very well looked after, they sell them on behalf of the owners and take %of sale

We did not have a good experience from a sales point that made us guarded with JMT. We bought from Somerset Motorhomes near Taunton - their family business approach was amazing and and first class in terms of sales and after sales support. I aslo know several of my friends who have had the same experience as me for good reliable customer service.

So far absolutely awful service from NSV, there may be a need for small claims court if things don't get sorted. AVOID
