After-market extras
Ladies and Gents, We have today "invested" in rear view cameras for our 2005 Nuevo. I'm sure that there are still many of us whose vans were built before the days when these essentials were standard fittings. Instead of researching the market as I would normally do, I asked advice from Tyrone Burgess of Auto Additions Nationwide who we had used to fit our Snipe satellite dish. I like to think this was the right decision. Tyrone explained the options and we plumped for a twin camera set up so that in normal driving we have a 7" wide rear view mirror, and when selecting reverse we have a downward facing parking assister. Reading the various forums and reviews on Amazon and the like there were some real horror stories! Anyway - some price checking was then carried out and what was on offer from AA couldn't be improved upon. So, today Tyrone installed our Parksafe cameras and are we impressed!!? The kit and fitting comes with a 3 year warranty too.
If anyone is thinking of some sexy extras such as solar panels, air-con, cameras or satellite we would highly recommend Tyrone Burgess at AA. The fitting was carried out perfectly - neat, tidy and without fuss. AND at a competitive price.
I always check this forum for members' experiences and recommendations for various products and services and haven't gone wrong yet. I can only add to those recommendations with AA.
So, if anyone is thinking of adding any techo goodies then check this out. www,autoadditionsnationwide.co.uk.
A couple more recommendations for businesses we have used and been delighted with.......
Tyres-on-the-drive for tyres
TOYO HO8 tyres
Oaktree Motorhomes for vans
Snipe satellite dishes
Hope these personal observations will be of interest and/or use to other owners. You can only speak as you find.
