Creaking habitation door

Hi.

I have nearly eliminated all the rattles and creaks on our Burford.

One of the last annoying creaks is our habitation door. Has anyone had any experience with eliminating creaking Hartal habitation doors.

Are you sure it's the hab door creaking?

There have been many tales, some of them quite amusing, of people trying to trace a squeak or creak, only to discover eventually that it came from quite a different source than they had thought.

Since adjusting the door to stop it catching on the door opening, I developed a squeak, it comes from the lock area, I know this because W holds the handle when moving and it stops. I have been moving the lock catch back in stages to eliminate it, move it back to far and you have to slam the the door quite hard, or it won't lock, problem is with the state of some of the roads, it seems to come back after a time, now carry the socket to adjust.
