Have they finished that new building by the rear toilet block ? If so, what is it? About time they spent some money there, although the views do take attention away from the poor state of the facilities. Don't forget to visit Cocoa Mountain up the road.

Heard any Corncrakes Boaby? They used to be quite common around there.

Not this year Frank, only noise here are the builders at the rear of the site and tenters pegging in. Last CC we heard was on Millport  when we visited my inlaws.

The building is making head way, walls are up and the roofing timbers in place, a truck load of materials arrived yesterday , weather isn't holding them back, I'm told its a new W.C showers etc.
The wife hasn't seen Cocoa mountain shop yet, we have another week here, decided to say longer , views to die for.

Cocoa shop is one of only a handful of units open on the Craft Village. The other cafe there is nice with loads of vinyl records to sift through. Don't forget Smoo Cave , free.

The boat costs but you can see the entrance for free.

Did you go across the road, along the walkway and peer down into the cave Paul?

Still have a week to go, hopefully the weather will change to allow a trip out, raining again.
