Inca over-cab bed
Looking for help.. a previous owner of our Inca removed the 'folding bit' to the overhead bed, I want to put it back as it just floats about... but the hinges are missing.
The problem is I have no Idea what the hinges look like, they seem to be some sort of 'double hinge' thingy.. does any Inca owner or anyone really, know where I might get some (3) a picture would be great so that I know what I need.
Many Thanks..
Les

Let's try a different approach, has anyone used the Autosleeper Parts Enquiry system?
It seems you have to create some sort of account.
Les.

Where your hinge is missing i have same hinge with the edge trimmed like yours.
when that is fixed to front part you would pull handle to lay flat.

Inca bed hinge
Hi Les
I own an Inca EK 2.8hdi. The hinge on mine is the same as the centre hinge shown in the previous photos. To operate you push up on the centre hinge joint . The front part with the handle now moves forward and the two ladder attachment brackets drop into the hooks fitted in the front padded head rail. It now ends up folded in half in the vertical position. I cannot send any pictures at the moment due to technical probs.
Hope this helps

Hmm, I don't have any hooks on the padded head rail, if you get round to posting some pictures Pete, it would be a great help..

Re: Inca over-cab bed
It's the reference to hooks on the padded headrail that's confusing me..
Because a previous owner removed everything, I have no Idea what it should look like... ☹

The only hook that on head rail is to hold bed in folded position

On my Inca there are hooks on the ladder and the same type of hooks are fitted to the padded part of the head.rail. I cannot attach any photos as I have not been able to work out how to do it. I can attach photos to an e mail address if this helps you Les

Thanks Pete, that's given me something to work from.. mine hasn't got those hooks at all, don't see it being a problem though..Petesymphony wrote:ps all the butt hinges are exactly the same.
