Locker doors
On my Stanton I have one roof locker doors where the veneer finish has started to curl back on the bottom curved edge. Just wondered if anybody else had experienced this. It's now got a sharp edge sticking up which it would be easy to cut yourself on. Will have to make a warranty claim as van still under AS warranty.

Re: Locker doors
Hi there, I have a 2016 Nuevo. 3 doors have been replaced and a 4th has now started to peel. This has been on the inside face on all doors.
The AS service centre said that they have seen other do the same so I would guess that there may be some sort of batch problem.
I'm going to wait until my hab check in a few months just in case the other door does the same.

Re: Locker doors
Reported one door delaminating at our 1 month hab check in our 2016 Nuevo. Since then a different door has delaminated and I have stuck it back on wth OVA glue. Both repairs appear to have held.

Re: Locker doors
On our previous 2009 Broadway EK, almost the entire outside surface of the toilet door delaminated save for the opposite hinge side and top and bottom edges. It created a full length sort of envelope that I could put my hand inside almost the full width of the door. It meant resorting to a diy job as the van was out of any warranty. The only way to ensure getting adhesion on the whole inside surface, was to use a multi-purpose spray impact contact adhesive. After both surfaces had become tacky, hand pressure was used to expel the air towards the open edge of laminate then masking tape applied to hold in place. What I did discover was the laminate had shrunk by 2-3mm from the finished edge of the door so perhaps the shrinking effect happened to tear the two surfaces apart.

Yep : saw it on my 2016 Broadway, warranty sorted it out but still left one corner not stuck!
