About to acquire my Dream AS !
Hello ASOs,
All going well I will acquire an AS soon, so is there anything I should look out for, and can you give me any tips for a lovely camping AS life !
I have had a Camper Van for several years , but not a MH. I aim to keep my mature Camper Van as my "car" now, and may think of having her "restored ". Any advice on this would also be welcome.
All the best Lovely ASOF Peeps !

Thank you Roger and Boaby for your replies.
All going well I hope to be collecting an AS Lancashire ES, 2004, before the end of the month.
I hope appart from the extra comfort I will be able to enjoy the delights of camping in Scotland in the winter as well getting around in other seasons.
All the best

Not all that many sites open in the winter John, unless your thinking of wild camping,or stopping at Brit/night stops.

Hello Boaby,
I am a member of C&CC and they have several sites open all year. Particularly in Cumbria and a couple in Scotland I would like to visit in winter. I also know of a site on Skye (and perhaps another one on Skye) . In addition I would hope to find some remote Scottish beachesĀ on the North West coast where I can enjoy the wild view and a dram or two of Talisker for a couple of days or so, in the comfort (I hope) of my new Van. We will see how thinks go. I hope to increase my trips away during the rest of the year anyway.
I have enjoyed studying the posts on Nuevo and Lancashires through the years and have picked up quite a bit of useful information on winterisation and generally.
I am off now to study some more posts on the subject !
All the best
John
