Truma Aventa air con roof fitting
Hi everyone, does anyone have knowledge of these units? We have one fitted in our Broadway, used it once last year and it was okay. Noticed this year that a red light is on which does not respond to the hand control unit and it doesn't have a separate manual on?off switch. We have booked it in for repair in one months time (Marquis are that busy!) but would love to know how to turn off the red light because it is driving me mad at night. Hope someone can help, thanks.

Presumably power is fed from your PSU (Sargent?) via one of the MCB switches. Switch that off to isolate the AC unit.

There is a rocker switch in the wardrobe on our Nuevo, just above (or below) the water heater switch. I have heard that some people turn both these switches off in winter and forget to turn them back on. Not me obviously.

Thanks folks for your speedy replies, unfortunately if we switch off the MCB switch it turns our sockets off as well, shortcut when it was fitted perhaps? Its a tad inconvenient though as we have to crawl on the floor and switch it on again when we want a cup of tea!
And sadly we don't have a switch in the wardrobe on our model, wish we did

Sticky tape then.
Do you have the iNlet model or just the handset? You do get better error code definition with the Truma app.
And as an aside, how stiff are your rotary controls. Mine couldn't be much stiffer if they had been glued in place.

According the manual there is an internal fuse. Pull that until it is fixed. DOn't know how it is accessed.

Just a handset unfortunately, no rotary controls at all. The previous owner had it fitted, I wish he hadn't bothered. In our last motorhome we managed without, we just opened the windows!

try doing what this guy does in the video https://youtu.be/jDMOTn3qQdA?t=2m25s
In case you cant see the video, he pushes a pen into the red light area to reset the unit

Only as a temporary emergency fix to get you through the night. I would get it examined by a Truma engineer before more damage results.crosgor wrote:If all else fails black pvc tape.
