118 118

Just had my BT mobile bill, used about a tenth of my data and calls but made two calls lasting seconds to 118 118. Charge was £7.50 per call plus the vat of course..... rip off or what..... be warned don't even go there!

That's more than just a rip off, daylight robbery! But I guess someone has to pay for those stupid '70's moustaches..

Agree, the very flippant presentation of the advert irritates me immensely!

Groundhog, there are numerous stories of folk getting hit with big charges on 118118. Think an elderly woman was billed £75 for one call to them  

Shame I hadn't read them Tony, the b*ggers even charged me twice when I only made one call, 10/10 to BT though I phoned and complained and they are refunding one of the charges next bill.

I'm surprised that anyone uses the service having had to watch those two infantile pillocks cavorting about in their nauseating bum hugger shorts at each end of so many programmes! They must be paid a lot to make themselves look so idiotic. Very convincing though, so maybe they are not acting!!

Makes me reach for the chuck bucket!

Dick Turpin, springs to mind, does anyone still use the Yellow pages we still get stuffed through the letterbox?

There is a theory, one exploited by 118 118 and all those comparison ads, that an annoying advert is more memorable than a nice advert. Why are our brains wired up so badly?

The one with James Corden sliding the car into a parking space.. The most annoying ad with the most annoying actor, but I can't remember what on earth he's advertising. I now change channels the second I see it coming...
