Found this Forum the other day. We have owned two Autosleepers since 2004 the first being a 1994 Harmony, then in 2006 we upgraded to a two berth 1997 Legend, as my 5' 0" wife kept banging her head on various parts of the Harmony. We have visited most parts of the UK in our Autosleepers and are active campers with the Staffs DA and Midlands Motor Caravan sections of the Camping and Caravanning Club.
Hope to have some input into this forum and looking forward to reading the tips and fellow Autosleeper owners adventures.

Welcome to the ASOF Barry and Diane from someone who was born and brought up in Walsall, West Mids. Moved from there to N Derbys atound 30 yrs ago. Last time I was in Walsall, I had to go around that roundabout outside Queen Mary's School (which I attended) twice before I could get off it.....! Who designed it? Had he or she visited the pub first.....?

Thank you all for your very warm welcome.
Our motorhome travels so far have only been in the UK, as we have an elderly lady Staffy and unfortunately her breed are banned in the nearest European countries to us but when she finally decides to hang up her Bonio's, it is our ambition to do a complete tour of Iceland, as we have been there a couple of times on weekend breaks and there was not enough time to see everything and it just appeals to us. Diane is also set on us touring Austria, Switzerland, Norway and Germany, so when I retire (in four years time and counting) hopefully our Autosleeper Legend will at last have the chance to really stretch her legs.
We use our Legend (called Edelweiss - because she's white and loves climbing hills!) all through the year and have often parked up then woken up the next day to temperatures well below -10C and surrounded by thick snow but that all part of the fun!.
As for Mikes comments on the new Walsall ring road, I have yet to meet anyone who likes it and its intention was to reduce journey times but with all the traffic lights, it's added at least 15 minutes to most journey times.
Hope to see you all soon - possibly in some far off field!! so keep a look out for Edelweiss (P288UCA)and her occupants and dont forget to keep waving at the other Autosleepers as you pass by.
