C&MC Motorhome Design Awards 2017
Congratulations to AS on taking runner up position at this year's awards, with the Kingham.
Personal opinion of course, but I still think it should have won

Re: C&MC Motorhome Design Awards 2017
They used to spend a few days at Newark showground with the vans and it was a design AND drive award. Since they just started walking around the NEC to look at the vans, I feel the credibility of the award is severely diminished.

Peter is right much better to test driving and looking then things like handling can be evaluated. Guess any of could design a motorhome to look pretty

Re: C&MC Motorhome Design Awards 2017
I appreciate what you're both saying about the changes in judging, but as long as the playing field remains level, despite the negativity, Auto-Sleeper taking runner up position for one of their vans, is better than not taking any awards.
I like it that Motorhome Design Awards are concentrating mainly on the conversion side of things and how that impacts on the end users, whilst they are using the vans.
Information on base vehicles is freely available elsewhere and unless there's a radical introduction of an alternative to safety features such as stability and brake assist, this year's Boxer, Ducato, Mercedes or Ford is going to handle, like last year's and the year before, so repeating such information year on year, is less relevant to me.
