Pre-retirement hello
Just an hello from an oldie due to walk away from the rat race to enjoy my retirement from 2018.
Still head deep in brochures and forums looking for the ideal motorhome for the two of us and the dog to travel around the UK in 2018 and probably into Europe in 2019. I suspect it's going to be a Nuevo EK as a nice compact model to get around but I've still got my eyes open for alternatives.
regards
Kev

Hi Kev and a big welcome to the forum from Filey
I don't think you will go far wrong with an Auto-sleeper and the forum is great, loads of helpful friendly people on hand. Gromit's a bit dodgy though (only joking, honest ).

Re: Pre-retirement hello
I have a bad feeling Gromit is not going to be too pleased with me

In the meantime Kev, enjoy browsing. We were in a similar position in 2015. I was made redundant a decided to "invest" my redundancy money in an Autosleeper. I've no idea how the weekly bills will be paid but until that gets desperate I'm enjoying myself.

Thank you for the welcome :) I think we've found a decent AS dealer just north of Evesham, if nothing else their coffee was good lol. They are also a WildAx distributor (sorry for swearing Gromit )which has some interesting designs to consider but the Nuevo does feel right at this moment in time.

Re: Pre-retirement hello
I was hoping for a severance last year but I'm too useful lol so it'll be retirement at 60 early next year but I've got a healthy pension to invest, probably this year :)dbroada wrote:We shall watch his moderating skills with interest.Jaytee wrote:I have a bad feeling Gromit is not going to be too pleased with me

If you're looking for an older Nuevo ours could be for sale at the end of May (maybe earlier if we can find replacement before a 4 week tour already planned).
