Hello ....
Hi all ....
We have been lurking in the background for a while and thought it really was about time we said our hello's to all you AS owners . We have always wanted the freedom of a Motorhome and have spent 12 months looking, reading and studying ect before ordering our first home. We where rightfully ( probably !? ) advised to rent first, buy second hand ect ect but being as we are we decided to just go for it and we are really excited to be collecting our Corinium FB on March the 1st from Marquise in Teweksbury. The FB just felt right and ticked all the box's for what we wanted and we have opted for the 4000kg upgrade to compensate for the otherwise very limited pay load.
Kindest regards to you all ... Niall and Janet

Re: Hello ....
Thanks for the welcomes ..... much appreciated. Just one question if I may, do Autosleeper owners wave/flash lights when passing each other and if so is there any particular etiquette that should be followed ? as a Jeep owner there is the customary greeting known within the community as " The Jeep Wave "

Re: Hello ....
Yes, raising of hand is sufficient (by driver or passenger) to any approaching motorhome. Perhaps an over enthusiastic waving motion or flashing of headlights could be confusing indicating danger. Be prepared for non response as some will be foreign or uninitiated or just plain miserable. Interesting to receive comments from owners of van conversions as not immediately identifiable from approaching distance to receive acknowledgement.

Re: Hello ....
Welcome to the forum from sunny Scotland
Some folk will flash their headlights rather than wave, but most stick to the raised hand with the optional movement from right to left. A wave involving the hand going up and down is usually something altogether different
