Preying on the forgetful
Having now got our occupational pensions (but not yet our state pensions) we are getting calls by softly spoken, friendly ladies calling in donations we promised for books for schools some months ago - "you remember- it was in March" and so on. When we say no these scumbags turn nasty and threaten to refer us to "accounts" or even the debt recovery team! Obviously we have become memory deficient on getting our pensions. They dont fool us but it is something to be aware of if you have kind but vague elderly parents.

These people usually target small business owners. I had several calls when I was a one-man taxi business.
