Waste water gauge
Is the gauge sender an easy diy job or dealer? Mine shows 100% full all of the time.

Re: Waste water gauge
I suppose it depends on the van, you dont say what yours is.
Ours is going in next week to have sensors done under warranty, however since that was organised my own theory of an iffy control panel display was correct as its ok again.
You could remove the panel, disconnect lead, wait a few minutes, reconnect and switch back on and see if display is correct,

Roger, thanks for your reply. The van is a Bourton. I'm yet to collect it but the habitation inspection picked it up. (Pre purchase) Maybe a warranty claim I'm told. Looking forward to my van adventures. I hope things stay in good working order rather than constant visits to get things sorted!

I hope the dealer is not expecting you to sort the warranty claim. Don't accept it until it's fixed.

Re: Waste water gauge
Hello Starlight
We have had a number of waste tanks that have had contamination on the sensors this year and a simple cleaning of the tank has cured the problem. What tends to happen is that grease gets on to the sensors and gives you the wrong reading, it is worth a try, using a grey water tank cleaner before going back to your dealer if the problem persists.
Cheers
Mark

I agree Paul, his dealership advertises The centre of excellence and is rated by many.
