Hello from Cromer
Hi all I am taking delivery of a Symbol of 2002 vintage on Monday next, it is in need of the grease gun applying to the gear change linkage as it is ridiculously stiff, it was through Googling ' Boxer gearbox problems? ' that I found my way here and will be ordering an extended drain pipe pdq.
I like to carry out my own servicing and repairs as I am a marine sparky by trade, this is my first venture into the world of campers but have owned two caravans and four Transits in the past so have now combined them. Will start off gently at first with some short trips and see how it goes from there, looking forward to meeting other owners on our travels, atb Steve.

Re: Hello from Cromer
Lift the gaiter fo around the gear level and give the linkages a good dose of WD40 and see if that helps
