Beckford fridge on gas

We have a thetford fridge in our 2014 Beckford mounted under the bench. Has anyone had problems with the bench getting hot when the fridge is run on gas. Any assistance would be appreciated.

When we had a Legend years ago, the fridge in that was situated underneath a worktop (I presume that's what you mean by bench, and not a bench you can sit on).  That surface used to get quite warm when we ran the fridge on gas.
