Peugeot Safety Recall
Just received a letter from Peugeot stating that there is a recall on some vans regarding the sliding door switch , which may not be locking properly.
It seems that my Warwick Duo (2016) may be affected.
Has anybody else been notified or had the fault fixed ?
Posted here as it will obviously only affect panel vans.

Re: Peugeot Safety Recall
Probably not a safety recall, so DVSA not involved.

Apologies, have overstated the importance of the recall . It is a Quality Campaign referenced HKE.
Rang the local Peugeot dealer and will be taking the van in on Thursday to check whether it needs modification. They will then order the parts which will mean a second visit, not convenient as the van is kept in storage.
Service Reception, as is usually the case, could only repeat what was on the letter so I am still no wiser as to what the "sliding door switch" is. The "switch" if faulty may prevent the door from locking properly or even at all.
Will post any further info after the van has been into the dealers.

Re: Peugeot Safety Recall
The only switch I can think of related to the sliding door is the one which lights up the image on the dashboard if you try to drive off without the door being properly closed.

accepted delivery of new duo on august 25th and Marquis motorhomes phoned us about the problem. we took it into our local peugeot garage who replaced the switch panels and since then have had no more trouble.
