Welcome Sean ( and the other part of the "we" )
Have you had a motorhome before ? If not then take a notebook and, possibly, some means of recording speech, and make notes during the handover process or record it. It should take anything up to 2 hours and it's impossible to remember everything involved. Being new it ought to have all the electric hook up leads, water pump and hose, carbon monoxide and smoke alarms and fire extinguisher but worth making sure they are in the van as more portable items are often taken out of vans while they are on the forecourt. We had not got a microwave plate or drainer as they had not been replaced.
The weather is getting colder now so make sure you know how to prepare your van for cold conditions when you are not using it- eg draining water from tanks and heater etc between trips.
Enjoy !

Re: Hi - newbie
Hope this is not too late for you. I went through the same process 2 months ago. I would make sure that you understand the digital controls for the Truma heating system. I asked for several repeated demonstrations starting with off and finishing with off.
One little bit of kit is the small brass adaptor for the external barbecue. It should be provided.
