Hi everyone,
I've discovered that the lower storage compartment isn't water tight, even though there is a seal around the door..even after light rain, water seep's in..Is this a poor design or fault?

It is not an uncommon problem. AS call it a wet locker. see this previous thread.

Good day Andy, yes, ours is the same. I make sure we only keep stuff which is OK if wet in this space (level ramps, traction mats etc.) as there appears to be 'drain' holes into the locker which, of course, admits water when driving on wet roads.
We do find that there are not really enough lockers accessible from outside in the Winchcombe although once inside there's plenty of space for storage! Best wishes, Andy Louch
