Hellow Empty Hellow

Post by K & S Sat Sep 24, 2016 4:25 pm

Having stopped caravaning and sailing some 19 years ago but recently retired my wife and I decided that although we go abroad 3 or 4 times a year (birding holidays for me mostly) we need to see more of the U.K.
With that thought we decided to invest in a motorhome. Not wishing to have too much of an investment sitting on the drive and making us feel guilty when not in use we choose a van conversion. We purchased. 2012 Peugeot boxer Kemerton. Very pleased to date ( now that the wife sleeps on the inside as she is more agile) The only disappointment to date is TVs reception on the 5 sites visited in Suffolk & Norfolk. Whilst we didn't decide to go "camping" again so we can watch more tv, catching the news first thing and the occasional  decent prog' would be a bonus. Guess we will have to experiment with aerials etc.

Welcome from N.E Wales.   handshake

Is your Kemerton your sole vehicle then?. If not, it's a pretty big investment to me. Enjoy your travels.

Hi and welcome to the forum from Leicestershire  wave.

Lots of sites surrounded by trees are notorious for poor TV reception but we have noticed that some sites are installing boosted TV points adjacent to the electric hookup pillars; we've benefited from this the last couple of times we've been out.
