Hello folks!
Recently bought a 1999 registered Clubman GL with 37000 on the clock. After a service, a habitation check and a new leisure battery, Sybil is now ready to hit the road! Still needs a little attention to the upholstery around the windows (can anyone advise on sticking down the covering?). Alun

Hello and from Leicestershire, good choice of van, enjoy. Spray carpet adhesive, I have used on the carpet lining that AS use to line walls and seat bases.

Re: Hello folks!
hearty welcome Sybil from Mavis down in sunny Somerset.
Resticking carpet lining can be a bit tricky because its difficult to thorough clean the surfaces . It helps to coat both surfaces once and let it go off until nearly dry then recoat the carpet and let that go off and then press together . try and find a way to support the carpet and keep it in tight contact with the window surround until the adhesive goes off completely otherwise the weight and tension in the carpet will pull the carpet off again before the glue dries .

Re: Hello folks!
Thank you all! And thank you for the advice. A trip to buy spray carpet adhesive is next...... I can see this being a fiddly job. However, if all that's wrong with Sybil after 17 years is a bit of loose upholstery..... !!
