Hi from another new member
Hi. Bought a 1994 talisman GL on a Talbot chassis.
Bought it a couple of weeks ago and immediately joined this forum but could not introduce myself as I was unable to post.
After experimenting with settings on pc I found that my Kaspersky security was blocking it. So in order to take part in this forum I have to turn off Kaspersky.
I am mentioning this in case other new members are having same problem. (I did ask admin at the time but got no reply).
Anyway, although I couldnt post I have lurked on here and found many useful topics and learnt quite a bit about my vehicle. Hats off to a good forum.

Hi
I had the same problem and went all round the houses making the wrong assumptions before I finally solved the problem . The solution is to add “www.autosleepe-ownersforum.com” to the exceptions in the “Private Browsing” settings.
The whole sorry story is here if you’re interested:

From Warrington
Unusual for AV software to block this forum. Some folks have had difficulty in signing in but where we have managed to resolve its been down to browser issues
I had a situation yesterday on our radio clubs website where the guy couldn't sign in and it was down to his browser. I installed Firefox and Chrome both of which allowed him in no trouble and both offered more security (imo) than his existing browser I am not saying this is your problem but if your AV software is not happy with browser security it will block it

I am not that good at fixing computer problems. Just opened Kaspersky and clicked on "private Browsing" settings. A wizard then opened and I
kept clicking on "next". It has solved the problem for this site but I still have a problem with another forum I use. I can post on that forum but
when I click on any links a blank page opens unless I turn Kaspersky off.
Oh well, at least this site is working now.
