Hi all, i'm new on here, i'm just in the process of buying my first motorhome a 1996 Autosleeper Talisman (Peugeot Boxer) and just stopped by to say hello, I'm from Leigh Lancashire a town slap bang between Liverpool to our west and Manchester to our East Wigan to our North and Warrington to our South so we really are a rose between 4 thorns, Im a rugby league fanatic and support my local pro club The Leigh Centurions and also my two local community clubs Leigh Miners Rangers and Leigh East, I have camped and caravanned in the past both towing and static but have finally convinced 'er indoors' to buy a motorhome, not finalised the purchase as of yet but have decided on the Talisman for no other reason than its bargain price and barring any last minute hitches should take possession within the week, I'll let you know how we get on, thanks,

Thanks to both, hopefully the deal should be done in the next few days, Im hoping to examine the van soon any tips on what to look for would be great, Im quite fine with vehicles I was an engineer (maintenance fitter) time served until joining the 'Boys in blue' and served in GMP Traffic for 9 years during my 24 years service so am quite used to examining vehicles, I have had the lobotomy reversed now though ;-)
