Its completely separate from those controls, either above the fridge or on the either of the fridge side panels.

Just checked again, no such switch, I now believe one was not fitted
Thank you for all your help.
Just checked with AS service centre, the early Nuevo may not have a switch, as you say it would be at the side of the fridge. They confirmed the radio is wired to a permanent live to the vehicle if the standby is always on.

It has been known that on the introduction of a new model, a feature included by AS becomes a problem and it could be that yours is one of the very first Nuevos and that the radio was connected to the leisure battery permanently - the switch being a mod on later vehicles to stop the leisure battery being discharged by the radio.
There should be a fuse in the +ve lead from the leisure battery and removing it should extinguish the standby light on the radio.
