Door Step mouldings?
Hello
My 1999 T4 trident conversion needs some attention on the sliding door entry. There are a series of plastic moulded step covers, that also edge the carpet, as you enter via the sliding door. They are starting to crack, I assume as the plastic is 16yr old it is getting more brittle. I would like to take them off and replace with new ones but cannot find any on the internet. Could anyone point me in the right direction??
Many thanks in advance.
Robin

Re: Door Step mouldings?
I lost a plastic end cap from my foldaway step and used a pebble of nearly the right size and the some of that two part putty stuff to fix it all in place. the putty could be shaped to match the other side.
I then used some old wheel silver paint to make both sides match colour.
Hopes this helps you to improvise something if can't get the plastic

Try the VW T4 forum most parts can be found on there. or VW Heritage, I have found in the past lots of info when looking for that elusive part.
