Introduction
Hello, I am Nick and have just picked up (yesterday) my 2006 Nuevo, proudly parked in my drive.
I have a horse and attend UK competitions (been riding three years) and decided the tent was no longer for me. I spent about a year looking at various motorhomes having never been in one until I hired one 18 months ago.I have probably looked at over 100 vans, motorhomes etc and decided that in my price range, a second hand Auto Sleeper was better value than some of the newer less well presented brands.
The Nuevo (and similar) caught my attention because of the single bed option.
Now I have it, but the competition season is over, so I am dreaming up reasons why I have to go away for a long weekend.
I found the forum when we were finalising our decision on type of m'home - I have no idea what I am doing and hope this forum will be a source of help and advice - it's worked so far!
Personal Stuff
I am semi retired (63), work as a volunteer and am a trustee of a charity for people with disabilities.
I own a horse and compete on him, took this up about three or four years ago.
2 Sons, both married, three grandchildren with two more on the way
I am in a civil partnership and live near Bournemouth

Re: Introduction
You HAVE to test it so that you are ready for the new season when that comes around. It could take many weekends away until you are absolutely sure you have everything you need.Nicnaen wrote:Now I have it, but the competition season is over, so I am dreaming up reasons why I have to go away for a long weekend.
Oh, and welcome to the forum from another new guy.
