Hello from Stroud
Hi - we have had a Compass Drifter 360e for about a year now and aim to get out on as many long weekends as we can. Just hoping to engage in various groups if we can help or add to other members thoughts.

Hello and from Leicestershire.
Excuse me asking, I do believe the Compass Drifter is not an Auto-sleeper?, if it is I stand corrected.

Well Daisy Mae - it appears I've made a mistake and am on the wrong place, Was looking for solutions to a problem with gear changes on a Peugeot Boxer and found a solution on here and wrongly assumed I was on the correct forum for the Compass Drifters

Hi Boaby - managed to find this on this forum Peugeot Boxer water leak onto gearbox and it answered my problem that I had and assumed that it would be the same as the Compass Drifter so, though you may not think so, our problem has been solved through others on the forum - thanks

Thank you Margaret - you're right about the knowledge. It doesn't matter where it's gleaned from if it helps someone else. We're all here to help each other when we can and who knows when we might change to an Autosleeper - we're always on the lookout for an older automatic motorhome

Hi Robert
You will be able to get Peugeot info off here as you have found. AS used the Boxer for various chassis as did Compass
Regarding the automatics you need to be looking at VW or Ford conversions (certainly as AS vans are concerned anyway) such as the various Clubman/Gatcombe models or a bit larger Legend, Amethyst, Excelsior models all of which have the AS famous Monocoque Bodies. There are some conventional built Fords chassied Ravennas, etc that had Auto boxes.

Re: Hello from Stroud
Thanks for that Roger - at the moment we're just trawling Autotrader to see if we can find one that fits all our requirements. It's not a 'desperate' more like a 'would be nice' We love our old Compass Drifter and it would have to tick all the boxes if we changed her
