Hello Empty Hello

Post by Coleaster Sat Oct 17, 2015 3:27 pm

I've been a VW camper owner for 12 years and replaced my 30 year old T25 with a 17 year old T4 Trident this year. I came upon the forum while seeking information on the Carver P4 heater. It's about the only thing not working on the van and I'm hoping to find other members who have had the same issue. What I've read so far suggests there ought to be lights showing on the control panel: I can't see any. I keep seeing references to Arc systems in Nottingham. Does anyone know if I can turn up there and seek help -I don't mean on the day but can one book a van in for repair/servicing or are they strictly an on line operation? I'm reasonably handy but electrics are beyond me at present and I don't feel confident with gas systems either. A troubleshooting flow chart would be handy, but it already feels like I'm asking for too much.

ARC won't take your heater out for you. You can send it to him for repair but phone first to make sure he's there as he takes long holidays abroad. There is a member of this forum who refurbs them.  He appears on Ebay as well. If I can find his details I'll post them here.

Found it. He's A&R electronics and his listing is on Ebay now. Just search for Carver Truma P4 and you'll find it.
