Hi fellow motorhome campers
Just joined the motorhome owners club.
I'm from the isle of Wight and just sorting out the little niggles that you come across in a second hand purchase.
The latest unknown is a 13 pin electrical cable and socket located under the drivers seat and disappearing through the floor by the leisure battery (not a 13 pin towing connection) what is this cable and socket for ?
The other question is - should there be a vent tube on the Exide BAT75L battery located under the drivers seat ?, I feel there should be one but cannot see the vent on the battery.
Hope to hear from someone who can help with these queries.
Many thanks,
kit44

It would appear you have a Bessacarr, so I'm not sure you'll will get much help with your 13 pin plug question on this Auto-Sleeper forum.

Hi Dave, Yes the motorhome is a 1998 Bessacarr on a Fiat Ducato 14 chassis, and I didn't realise that the forum was for Auto-Sleepers only.

The battery could be sealed one without a vent.
Never heard of that 13 pin cable. I expect a previous owner fitted this.
Hope this helps
