Also on the back cover of MMM is a new van conversion based on the extra long wheel based Boxer - the Fairford. Will be at the NEC show as well.

Details of the 2016 range of AS are in the latest Practical Motorhome magazine. The longer single beds Frederic refers to in the Topaz are due to a smaller fridge being fitted. The Topaz will be built on the new T6.
Other changes to the range are -
the Broadway EL Duo, Windrush and Kemerton are all discontinued.
New Fairford lauched, 4 berth with two lounges, midships and rear built on the XL Boxer.
The rest of the coachbuilt ranges continue, both Boxer and Mercedes bases.
Two new coachbuilts will be added later in the season both on Boxers.
Equipment changes include 80w solar (option upgrade from 30w on some models, 80w as standard on others). New taps, LED ceiling lights, chrome facings for plug sockets, switchesand USB ports. Truma Drive Safe gas regulators to be fitted across the board and Truma Climate Control and twin-lens reversing cameras as options.
Two new independent dealers appointed - DolphinMotorhomes in Hampshire and Robsons of Wolsingham + one other to be confirmed.
49% of AS sales are now van conversions, up from a third.

Paul (or anybody else!) - why do you think this? What are the benefits of PVC over Coachbuilt? Do they give better value for money for instance?

We went for a Symbol because it's a bit narrower than a coach built and would fit better in the drive, I also thought that I can drive it down any road that a transit or boxer van can go down.
Why has the font changed? Now it's gone right

Used PVCs hold their money better than any type of MH.. The drive is significantly quieter than other types. Many are downsizing rather than up sizing. Less chance of damp as its a van with fewer ingress points. Better MPG.
We had one hell of a job finding one that suited what we wanted and were very surprised at the ridiculous prices Van Conversions make. Even the frankly awful offerings from Swift and Autocruise were well over 30K for three year old vehicles.
Basically the larger the van the cheaper they got.. Well that was our experiences over the months we looked before buying.
Our supplying dealer offered a us a full refund on our van when I complained about the squeaks and rattles (Now sorted ) as they say they can sell it easily..
