Just been on [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.] I don't suppose anyone knows the French from what I'm after ie a 'well' or 'pocket'? I've just got as far as 'porte' so far but that's a bit broad :}

Re: Is this really a Symphony?
There really is only two types of Symphony, built on two different base vehicles. First Symphonies were on Talbot's then later on Boxers. The Symphony evolved into the Symbol. That one on EBay has been resprayed and different graphics applied. Upholstery changed over the years but layout remained the same. The second type is of course the Symphony ES (extra seat) which is different with its two front facing rear seats instead of a side bench.

That one looks like a Symphony to me from the layout but my partner has a Swift Mondial on a Ducato which is the same layout. They did the earlier ones of those on a smaller vans.
I didn't know about the ES version of the Symphony but I do know some have ovens and some don't, which is the only difference I know of.

Hi,
it certainly looks like a symphony inside and out, the decals have been changed and the bumper sprayed, I would wonder why? At £16995 it is a lot of money for a 2000 reg. petrol van. My van is a year younger with only 20,000 on the clock but not a lot of serious interest when I put it up for sale at £13,500 '

Re: Is this really a Symphony?
There have always been home-made copies of Symphonies. At one time employees at AS were able to buy anything from the factory and fit out vans. When this ad first appeared a few weeks ago it was advertised as a 2000 converted in 2002. I queried this with the seller and asked for the build number which would be in the glovebox if genuine. He came back with the answer that the date was a mistake and corrected the ad but he never came back with the build number. So if interested be very careful, if not a genuine AS the value would be around half of that advertised price which even if genuine is very high.
