Water tank bigger than the original
My Inca originally had a (rather paltry) 50 litre fresh water tank. When I bought it 2 years ago, I noticed diesel contamination, and the dealer agreed to change everything including the tank. He did say at the time that he had fitted a bigger tank than the original. Result, I thought.
Just recently, I thought to measure the size of the tank, and it turns out to be 100 litres. I thought, if there is space to fit a 100 litre tank, why did A/S fit one half that size?
So now I'm fretting that there may be a structural reason, or was it more likely to do with available weight?
What do you think?

Phone Mark Burdett at Autosleepers Service Centre. He will be able to tell you I would think, then you can either sleep soundly again - you will know for certain what you are worrying about!
I would doubt if it's a structural reason since there's no problem finding something solid to hang a tank on. The method of hanging might be worth checking though. Tanks have been known to fall off when the straps or brackets have been inadequate, and some of those little semi-circular "sleeping policemen" give the van a vicious bump if you hit them at more than a crawl.

If you've had no problems for two years you are unlikely to have any now.

Thanks both. Have had no problems, but might give Mark a ring anyway.
