Well, further investigation has the bed running a tad small for my lanky frame. I had hoped it ran lengthwise as a large double, rather than transversely.
I'm now looking at a Northstar demountable which goes on the back of a pick-up truck. Nice compact design, proper 4' 6" x 6' 4" longitudinal bed, can be left on the campsite, wild camped or left at home, which gives me an every day car to use when it's not loaded.
Could be a really good option.
