Hello!
Hi
Just wanted to introduce myself as I've just purchased my first campervan and am completely new to the campervan scene.
I'm so new in fact that I don't pick it up my Autosleeper Trident T4 until Saturday but am so excited (and abit nervous) that I couldn't wait another week to join!
I live in Chichester with the South Downs and New Forest on my doorstep, so I'm hoping to have many happy camping holidays ahead of me. I have a three year old who is equally excited not least because his favourite cartoon character Peppa Pig goes off on holiday in a campervan - unfortunately mine doesn't turn into a boat at the flick of a switch like Peppa's!! I hope he's not too disappointed.
Anyway, I will be reading the posts avidly and hopefully posting a few of my own just as soon as I work out how these forum thingys work (it took my half an hour to work out how to post this one so hope I've done it right!)

Re: Hello!
Welcome to the forum Jules.
If there is anything that you don't understand when you have got your van then just ask - someone on here will know the answer. And don't forget to let us all know how you get on on Saturday.

Re: Hello!
Hi and welcome to the forum Jules
We are realy envious of you, starting out camping with a three year old .... He will love it, we have a fund of memories from when our 'kids' were young (and not so young), enjoy every day ..... time goes so quickly.
Good luck for Saturday.
Regards, Brian & Chris

Inaugural Trip
Hi All
Thanks for all your welcome messages.
I took delivery of the campervan on Saturday and drove it straight to my parents where three of us spent the rest of the day trying to put the awning up - definitely not a one man job so will be relying on my three year old for help!
I've already used this forum to sort out insurance (one quote was for £800.00!!!) but ended up going with AXA under the Scenic brand, and again for bike rack information so thanks to whoever contributed to those threads.
We're off on our inaugural trip this weekend to a campsite just outside Midhurst (not too far from home first time out!)
Fingers crossed for a dry weekend...
Jules
