Bourton Heiki Rooflights with winder
The struts on the roof light are slightly out of sync. This means one side is trying to lock before the other is down. Is there any way I can adjust this. It seems I need to 'hold' one of the sliders from the strut until the other is aligned with it. I do not want to turn the handle too much for fear of breaking it.

There are several variants of the Heki. Could you post a photograph of yourd?

It may be that one of the cables has slipped out of its mounting. I had a similar problem with the Heki on my Lancashire but the gearbox also slipped so the complete Heki was replaced under warranty.

Thanks Inspiredron. We are on tour in Scotland at the moment, will have to get it all checked when we get home. I donn't think the gearbox has gone but it would seem from what you say there is not something I can do en-route.
Peter, I'll try and send a picture ....
