Re: How many Orians
There don't seem to be many Orian owners on here - only around a dozen declared as such in the Member list, and none of them state theirs as a Dorado!
Out of curiosity, what does a Dorado look like? Just looking at some dealer adverts it's suggested that it's just a Ravenna with a different badge. If that's correct (and given the typical accuracy of dealer adverts it may well not be) there are definitely a few Ravenna owners on here...

Re: How many Orians
The Orian's were all 'old spec' AS models and I think a way of using up surplus stock when a new model was introduced so there were never many of any, the models are:
Aquilas, Dorado, Gemini, Libra, Mensa, Pavo, Saturn, Sirius, Zeta.
The Zeta was a Nuevo and it looks as though the Dorado was a Ravenna as Mojo suggests.

Re: How many Orians
Wasn't the Orion range created by A/S,and kitted out more 'plainly', though with a more modernistic interior & exterior colour scheme, in order to make the brand more affordable both for the general populous and the motor-home hire market?
I remember at an AGM having to vote on their acceptance (or not) into the ASOC fraternity, they were.

I've been in a couple of Zetas and can't recall much difference to the (at the time) older model Nuevo other than the colour scheme. The internal pics linked above suggest the same I think.

Orian
Hi,
I looked at an Orian Gemini which was basically a Pollensa I liked the modern colour scheme It was based on the last of the MK6 Transit,s unfortunately I wanted to tow with it and it had the smaller output engine fitted

Re: How many Orians
our last motorhome was a dorado but it was on 2.4 ford transit 07 we liked it the only reason we sold it was because we wanted single beds so went for the broadway el . the only downside was that not all dealers knew what it was for valuing but having said that we didn't lose much on it and the dealer sold it within a few weeks after we traded it in

No problem, just start a new thread. You will get very few responses with your query buried in a thread of a different title.Bayliner1952 wrote:I just changed the title to see if anyone had a sirius or any more info on the sirius model. Sorry new to this.
Can't help with the Sirius btw.

Re: How many Orians
I replied to same question on outandaboutlive. Only one Sirius registered here but they have never posted. I've only ever seen one, it was big , I think it's the same as the Rienza. Worth asking about owners of those and should find reviews on line about that model.
