When I bought my Autosleeper Midas I was told that if I had a flat battery it would take charge out of the leisure battery and the van would start - well odoesn't just wondered if they were telling me porkies.

The leisure battery is not designed to start an engine.

Re: Flat battery
Will do if you are stuck though. Put jump leads on and leave a few mins to allow some juice into the starter battery before hitting the start button.pjkxpjkx wrote:The leisure battery is not designed to start an engine.

Hi,
Possibly it has something like a battery master which maintains the charge in the vehicle battery by drawing from the leisure battery,
Chris
