Hello im a newbie to this. Im thinking of buying a second hand Mercedes auto sleeper or similar for a maximum budget of 30k. Have been used to caravanning for the past 30 years it is now time for the change. I have looked at the new models in local dealers but they are outside my price range. Looking to tour UK and the continent as now retired.Any advice would be most welcome.

Welcome to the forum...
30K for a Mercedes based Auto-Sleeper is a little tight IMO from what I've seen, add another 5k and you'll be getting closer to an 2008-2009 model, but you might get lucky.

Welcome from N.E Wales.
As Roli says, you'll be hard pressed to find a Merc based late model but you could get a Merc based Medallion (they were available on VW or Mercs).
